From locally-sourced products and farm-to-table restaurants to mom-and-pop diners, the Milwaukee culinary scene offers a delectable blend of flavors. Whether you’re into fresh cheese curds from Clock Shadow Creamery or want authentic German dishes from Mader’s Restaurant, Milwaukee is never in short supply of comfort food. When it comes to award-winning restaurants, Milwaukee boasts several James Beard Award winners and runner-ups like Sandford, Braise, and Lake Park Bistro.
Frozen Fancies
Despite the fact that Milwaukee’s winter temperature regularly drops well below 32 degrees, you can still eat frozen custard year round.
