New Orleans, La.: Hansen’s Sno-Bliz specializes in the sno-ball, shaved ice that instantly dissolves on the tongue in a variety of unique flavors. Of course, New Orleans residents also get to enjoy the best Creole and Cajun cuisine in the U.S. year-round.
Charleston, S.C.: When it’s hot outside, everyone craves light, fresh seafood. Hank’s Seafood Restaurant, voted the “best seafood restaurant” in Charleston for 13 years in a row, has a an elegant setting along with guest favorites such as Low country Bouillabaisse, Roast Grouper with Lobster Risotto and Oyster Stew.
Dallas, Texas: The Fried Chicken + Jack Sandwich is just one of the many popular, drool-worthy sandwiches at the top-rated East Hampton Sandwich Co. in Dallas. Also check out its Country Ham & Swiss sandwich and the Ranch BLT.
Cape Elizabeth, Maine:The Lobster Shack at Two Lights is a historic lobster eatery on the coast of Maine, featuring sweeping views. But what’s most important is that its lobster rolls have won numerous awards.
San Diego, Calif.: Some of the best burgers in the country were discovered by Guy Fieri of The Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins & Dives” at Hodad’s. In fact, the restaurant says its Guido Burger was inspired by Fieri and is a unique pastrami-topped burger, dripping with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and brown mustard.
